ThawTEpiCGSat37oC.Gentlytiltthetubeseveraltimestoensurecompletemixing.(Note:thepresenceofBPEinthegrowthsupplementmayresultinlipoproteinprecipitates;thisdoesnotaffecttheefficacyofthesupplement).Spraythemediumbottleandsupplementtubewith70%ethanolandwipetoremoveexcessliquid.Inasterilefield,removethecapswithouttouchingtheinteriorthreadswithfingers.AddTEpiCGStothemediumandmixwell.Sinceseveralcomponentsarelight-labile,themediumshouldnotbeexposedtolightforextendedperiods.Wedonotrecommendwarmingmediumina37oCwaterbathpriortouse.Whenstoredinthedarkat4oC,thereconstitutedmediumisstableforonemonth.Caution:Ifhandledimproperly,somecomponentsofthemediummaypresentahealthhazard.Takeappropriateprecautionswhenhandlingit,includingthewearingofprotectiveclothingandeyewear.Disposeofproperly.
