TheQubit®3.0FluorometeristhenextgenerationofthepopularbenchtopfluorometerthataccuratelymeasuresDNA,RNA,andproteinusingthehighlysensitivefluorescence-basedQubit®quantitationassays.Thefluorescentdyesusedintheseassaysemitsignalsonlywhenboundtospecifictargetmolecules,evenatlowconcentrations,thusminimizingtheeffectsofcontaminants,includingdegradedDNAorRNA.TheintegrateddesignoftheinstrumentandassaysresultsinquantitationthatisfarmoresensitivethanUVabsorbance,makingthissystemessentialforquantitationofprecioussamples(samplesthatarerare,difficulttopurify,orexpensivetoeitherobtainorprepare)orsamplesfor“delicate”applications(samplesfordownstreamassaysthatareextremelysensitivetosampleconditions).
