Description:

Thesecantileverswiththehighspringconstantandthelowresonantfrequency(below250kHz)canbeusedinTappingmodeinSPMthathasalow-frequencyfeedbackloop.ThesecantileversalsofitSPMsystemsthatdonotsupportprobeswithshortleverarms.

Probeswithoverallconductivechemicallyinert30nmAucoatingwith20nmCrsublayeronthetipandbacksideofthecantilever.ResultingtiprADIusisbelow35nm.Thecoatingmaycausecantileverbendingwithin3°.
Cr-Aucoatingisformedasa30nmAufilmwitha20nmCrsublayer,whichisdepositedforbetteradhesionofAu.Thecoatingisformedonbothtipsideandbacksideofthecantilever.
