Description
SF-CFM is a sterile, uniquely formulated cell freezing medium. It is a cost effective alternative to making your 
own cryopreservation medium and allows you to focus on your post-preservation studies. SF-CFM consists of DMSO, sucrose and cellulose in modified MCDB 131 medium. This product has a pH 
of 7.2 at room temperature. SF-CFM has been shown to significantly improve cell viability and function following cryopreservation in 
comparison to traditional DMEM + serum + DMSO approaches. It is also provides the advantage of being 
a completely defined serum-free cryopreservation medium.

Product Use
SF-CFM is used to cryopreserve all mammalian cells including stem cells and neuronal cells. It is for research 
use only. Not for use in animals, humans, or diagnostic procedures.

Storage
Store the SF-CFM at -20°C. Once thawed, the product may be stored at 4°C for up to one month.
