Rabbit anti Bovine interleukin-13 antibody recognizes bovine interleukin-13 (IL-13), a 14.7 kDa immunoregulatory cytokine produced primarily by activated T helper type 2 (Th2) cells and also by mast cells and NK cells.Bovine IL-13 is involved in the stimulation of B cell proliferation and antibody production, inhibition of the production of inflammatory cytokines and, combined with interleukin-2 (IL-2), regulation of interferonγ synthesis.
