Phospho-Crosstide Antibody
|
Product Description | Crosstide (PRAATF) is a substrate of the PKB (AKT) and SGK kinase families. Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-pCrosstide antibody is developed with phosphorylated crosstide (PRAApTF) and absorbed with non-phosphorylated crosstide. The purified antibody was conjugated to peroxidase (HRP) via reductive amination. The antibody has been utilized for non-radioactive PKB and SGK kinase assays. |
Species | Rabbit |
Formulation | 250 µg/mL in PBS, 50% glycerol |
Immunogen | Phospho-crosstide (PRAApTF)-KLH |
Purification | The antibody was affinity purified with PRAApTF on agarose followed by affinity absorption with the non-phosphorylated crosstide. |
Conjugation | Acetylation of the primary amine with the active ester of biotin (NHS-activated d-biotin). |
Specificity | The antibody only recognizes the phosphorylated crosstide, the product of SGK and PKB in a non-radioactive kinase assay. There are no cross reactions with the non-phosphorylated crosstide. |
Applications | ELISA (0.25 - 1.0 µg/mL); WB (0.25 - 1.0 µg/mL); Non-radioactive AKT and SGK kinase assay |
Scientific Description | Crosstide is a synthetic peptide with the sequence (GRPRTSSFAEG). Kinases phosphorylate crosstide to form phospho-crosstide. [1-3] |
Storage & Stability | Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C. For extended storage, store product at –20ºC. Expiration date is one year from date of shipping if properly stored. |
