Immunogen: Link Protein from Bovine nasal cartilage
Clone: 8A4
Host: Mouse
Isotype: IgG
Specificity: This antibody recognizes the structurally related amino acid sequence epitopes … PISRP…and ….PITKP that occur in the two proteoglycan tandem repeat motifs of cartilage LP. Thisantibody can be used to detect intact LP 1,2 & 3 as well as a large number of smaller fragmentsthat are generated through proteolytic cleavage during LP catabolism. It recognizesLP in all animal species from chicken to humans.

Technical Notes
No enzyme pretreatment required, however chondroitinase and hyaluronidase will increaseantibody sensitivity by exposing epitopes. For WB chondroitinase and hyaluronidase treatmentis recommended.
