Specific Gyrase Protein Domains
All our gyrase subunits are supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/ml unless otherwise specified and are purified to > 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE. We have an extensive collection of mutants not listed here so please contact us for a full list. Different quantities and concentrations can be supplied on request.

Gyrase Subunits
For studies involving mutant drug-resistant E. coli gyrase subunits the wild-type subunits are available separately in the following amounts. The subunits are supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/ml, purified to > 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE. Other quantities and concentrations are available as are the individual subunits from S. aureus and M. tuberculosis gyrases; please enquire for further information.

Purified Gyrase Domains
For structural studies the following E. coli gyrase domains are available: GyrB43, GyrB24 and GyrA59. Domains supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/ml purified to > 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE. (see gel below for typical levels of purity)
Larger quantities/different concentrations are available, please enquire.

Drug-Resistant Topoisomerases
We offer various quinolone- and coumarin-resistant topoisomerase mutants includingE.coli, S.aureus and other organisms. The proteins can be supplied as separate subunits or as reconstituted enzyme. Typically the quinolone-resistant mutants confer 50-100 X more resistance to fluoroquinolones than the wild-type. We have more than 25 mutants in different topoisomerases and can make other mutants as requested.
