Purified rabbit albumin may be used as a reference antigen, calibrator, coating protein and blocking agent in a variety of immunoassays including immunodiffusion, immunoelectrophoresis, ELISA, Western blotting, dot-immunobinding assays (DIBA), haemagglutination, and cellbinding assays.
Lyophilized, stable white powder. No preservative added. After opening the vial, the lyophilized content is reconstituted by adding 1 ml of sterile distilled water, mixed gently by inversion until complete dissolution is obtained.
