REAGENTS: Preparation and Storage
This test kit must be stored at 2 – 8 °C upon receipt. For the expiration date of the kit refer to the label on the kit box. All components are stable until this expiration date. Prior to use allow all reagents to come to room temperature. If crystals have formed, mix gently until the crystals have completely dissolved. Reagents from different kit lot numbers should not be combined or interchanged.


Assay Principle

The Eagle Biosciences muscarinic cholinergic receptor 1 (M1) ELISA assay kit is an antibody screening test. M1 receptor has been pre-coated onto a microtiter plate. During the first incubation the anti-muscarinic cholinergic recetor 1-antibodies of the samples are immobilized on the plate. The autoantibodies are detected with an HRP labeled anti-human IgG antibody. In the following enzymatic substrate reaction, the intensity of the color correlates with the concentration and/or avidity of anti-muscarinic cholinergic receptor 1 antibodies.
