Malignanttypes(HPV16,18,33,52band58)typesareamplifiedusingtheHPVpU-1M/HPVpU-2Rprimerpair;benigntpes(HPV6and11)typesareamplifiedusingtheHPVpU-31B/HPVpU-2Rprimerpair.DigestionofPCRproductsbyrestrictionenzymesAccI,AfaI,AvaI,AvaII,andBglII(availableasEnzymeSetA,Cat.#6604)followedbyagarosegelelectrophoresisidentifiestheresidentHPVtypes.ThisPCRHPVTypingSetisoptimizedforusewithTaKaRaTaqDNAPolymerase,whichcanbepurchasedseparately.
