Western BLoT Immuno Booster reagents can be used in a variety of immunoassays, including Western blotting and ELISA, to enhance antigen-antibody interactions and thereby increase final detection sensitivity. These products do not affect the activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) or alkaline phosphatase (AP), and therefore are compatible with enzyme-conjugated secondary antibodies and with any detection method (i.e., colorimetric or luminescent).

A completely chemically defined version is available for use in protein-free detection systems. Protein-free conditions minimize cross-reactivity that can occur with conventional protein-based blocking buffers, and therefore are ideal for detection of phosphorylated proteins and low-level antigens.

To obtain the highest possible detection signal for Western blotting, use these products in combination with the Western BLoT HRP Substrate Series for HRP chemiluminescence.
