Transforming growth factor betas (TGFBetas) mediate

many cell-cell interactions that occur during embryonic

development.Three TGFBetas have been identified in

mammals. TGFBeta1,TGFBeta2 and TGFBeta3 are

eachsynthesized as precursor proteinsthat are very

similar inthat each is cleaved to yield a 112 amino

acidpolypeptidethat remains associated with the

latentportion of themolecule.TGFB1 Human

Recombinantproduced inHuman 293 cells is a

homodimeric pol-peptide chaincontaining 2 x 112

amino acids andhaving a totalmolecular mass of

25kDa. The TGFB1is purified byproprietary

chromatographic techniques.

SolubilityIt is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized

TGFB1in sterile 5mM HCl & 50ug/ml BSA at a

concentration of0.1mg/ml, which can then be further

diluted to otheraqueous solutions

Store at -20oCLyophilized form stable at room temperature

for 3 weeks,should be stored desiccated below

-20oC .Upon reconstitution, should be stored at 4oC

between 2-7 daysand for future use below -20oC
