Throughextensivecrystallizationscreeningofmorethan40,000diverseproteinsfrombothprokaryoticandeukaryoticorganisms,researchersattheMCSGhavederivedthemostup-to-datesetofcrystallizationconditionsforinitialscreening.Thesenon-redundantconditionsconstitutethebroadestcoverageofcrystallizationspaceofanycommerciallyavailablescreenandaresupportedbyadecadeofexperimentalanalysisandvalidation.
ThecompleteMCSGsuite(384conditions)comprisesof4screensof96uniqueconditionsthatareavailableeitherasdeep-wellblocks(1.7mLperwell)ortubes(10ml).
