Thisproductisanaffinitypurifiedantibodyproducedbyimmunoaffinitychromatographyusingphosphopeptidecoupledtoagarosebeadsfollowedbysolidphaseadsorption(s)againstnon-phosphopeptideandnon-specificpeptidetoremoveanyunwantedreactivities.ThisantibodyisspecificforphosphorylatedhumanAPC1proteinatthepS355residue.ABLASTanalysiswasusedtosuggestreactivitywiththisproteinfromhuman,mouse,dog,rat,andbovinebasedon100%homologyfortheimmunogensequence.CrossreactivitywithAPC1proteinfromchimpanzeeandchickenisexpectedasthesequenceoftheimmunogenonlyvariesbyoneaminoacidinfromthesesources(89%homology).CrossreactivitywithAPC1homologuesfromothersourceshasnotbeendetermined. Minimalreactivityisexpectedwiththenon-phosphorylatedformoftheprotein.
