Overview | Receptor for relaxins. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins leading to stimulation of adenylate cyclase and an increase of cAMP. Binding of the ligand may also activate a tyrosine kinase pathway that inhibits the activity of a phosphodiesterase that degrades cAMP. |
Molecular Function | G-protein coupled receptor activity, metal ion binding; Adenylate cyclase-activating G-protein coupled receptor signaling pathway |
Subcellular Location | Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein |
Expression | Detected in brain cortex, and at low levels in testis. |
Structure | Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Contains 1 LDL-receptor class A domain. Contains 11 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats. |
Alternative Nomenclature | H1 antibody H1RLX antibody Preprorelaxin H1 antibody Prorelaxin antibody Prorelaxin H1 antibody Relaxin 1 (H1) antibody Relaxin A chain antibody Relaxin1 antibody RelaxinH1 antibody RLN1 antibody RLXH1 antibody |
