This gene is a member of the transient receptor family andthe TrpV subfamily. The calcium-selective channel encoded by thisgene has 6 transmembrane-spanning domains, multiple potentialphosphorylation sites, an N-linked glycosylation site, and 5 ANKrepeats. This protein forms homotetramers or heterotetramers and isactivated by a low internal calcium level.
Titration of the TRPV5 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 634-663 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this TRPV5 antibody.
Aliquot the TRPV5 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
