ThismonoclonalantibodywasraisedagainstpurifiedrecombinantproteinandisspecificfortheC-terminalregion(residues748-976). Theantibodyisnotidealforuseinwesternblottingexperimentsbutwillworkonslotblotapplications. Itiswellsuitedforimmunohistochemistrywithparaffinembeddedtissueusing1:25to150dilutions,thehightemperatureunmaskingprocedureandstandardABCtechniques. Itwillworkwithfrozentissuealthoughacetonefixationisrecommended. Wegenerallyrecommend60minincubationat25Cfortheprimaryantibody. SpecificconditionsusedineachlabmayvaryaswillspecificapplicationsforthisAB. Forthisreason,theconditionsfordetectingnuclearandnucleolarlocalizationshouldbeworkedoutempericallyineachlaboratory.
