Purity:RecombinantHtrA4appearsasamajorproteinofabout38kDainSDS-PAGE(>90%oftotalprotein).DuetominorN-terminaltruncationoftheproteinitmayappearasadoubleband.
EnzymaticActivity:ProteolyticactivityofrecombinanthumanHtrA4isdocumentedbydigestionofß-casein. 0.5mgß-casein/mlarecompletelydigestedby10μg/mlHtrA4within24hoursat37°C(seePDFinsert).
