Specificityoftheantiserumwasdemonstratedbysolublepre-adsorptionandWesternblot.TissuestainingiscompletelyeliminatedbypretreatmentofthedilutedantibodywithanexcessofratVMAT2peptideresidues496-515.
Westernblotanalysisofimmunoprecipitatedratbrainhomogenatesdemonstratesadenseimmunoreactivebandofapproximately55kDandaminorbandofapproximately75kD.
