Alternative Name(s) of Target: Asp f 9; Aspf9; probable glycosidase crf1; Crh-like protein 1; glucanase; allergen: Asp f 9; allergen Asp f 9Immunogen: 5C6 antibody was raised using a novel technique: mononuclear cells were taken from the human subjects with allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and then screened for IgE secretion. Subsequently, they were used to generate hybridomas of which some were secreting anti-Asp f 9 IgE.
Specificity: This antibody recognises Asp f 9.
Application Notes: A target of the 5C6 antibody (Asp f 9) was confirmed through IP and mass spectrometry (Wurth et al., 2018). ELISA: this antibody detected Asp f 9 in a commercial Aspergillus extract ALKB in ELISA (Wurth et al., 2018). WB: 5C6 antibody was successful in detecting Asp f 9 in western blot samples from Aspergillus extracts HS and AlgryL (Wurth et al., 2018).
