Pegylated Remote Loadable Liposome (5 mL)

Particle size and shape: Vehicle mean particle size is ~90 nm.

Formulation: The long-circulating, pegylated, liposomal carrier is composed of N-(carbonyl-ethoxypolyethylene glycol 2000)-1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine sodium salt (MPEG-DSPE); fully hydrogenated soy phosphatidylcholine (HSPC), cholesterol, an ammonium sulfate core; histidine as a buffer; hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide for pH control; and sucrose to maintain isotonicity.

Buffer: 10 mM histidine buffer, ~pH 6.5, with 10% w/v sucrose.

Recommended applications: intravenous (i.v.) injection in flank or orthotopic animal models of cancer.

Storage conditions: Store frozen until ready for use at -20° C
