Overview
Primary human CD36+ cells were derived from positively selected umbilical cord blood (CB) CD34+ cells. CD34+ cells were cultured in StemSpan™ SFEM II with SCF, EPO, IL3 and hydrocortisone for 10 days to generate CD36+ cells. CB was collected using citrate-phosphate-dextrose (CPD) as an anticoagulant. CD36 is expressed on erythroid progenitor and lineage cells.Cells were collected using consent forms and protocols approved by either an Institutional Review Board, the Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and/or an equivalent regulatory authority.Certain products are only available in select territories.
