The PGE2 (Prostaglandin E2) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit (Sheep) is a quantitative competitive assay for the detection of PGE2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.||Sensitivity:|18.75pg/ml||Detection Range:|31.25-2000pg/ml||Specificity:|This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of sheep PGE2. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between PGE2 and analogues is observed.||Precision:|Intra-Assay: CV<8%|Inter-Assay: CV<10%||Test Principle:|The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with PGE2. During the reaction, PGE2 in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of PGE2 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the|Biotinylated Detection Antibody specific to PGE2. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate|reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm.
