Ribospin^TM vRDIIproceduresemployedtheglassfibermembranetechnologyforthefastestandthemostconvenientofhighpurityRNAandDNAisolation,insteadofconventionalalcohol recipitationorphenol/chloroformextraction.Ribospin ^TM vRDIIbuffersystemprovidestheeffectivebindingconditionofRNAandDNAtoglassfibermembraneandtheimpuritiesonthemembranearewashedawaybytwodifferentwashbuffers.Atlast,pureRNAandDNAareelutedbynuclease-freewater.Wholeproceduretakesonly15minutesandthepurifiednucleicacidissuitableforPCR,RT-PCR,oranydownstreamapplicationwithoutfurthermanipulation.
Ribospin^TM vRDIIprocedureshouldbeperformedatroomtemperature.ThepurifiednucleicacidshouldbetreatedwithcarebecauseRNAisverysensitivetocontaminants,suchasRNases,oftenfoundongenerallabwareanddust.ToensureRNA-stability,itisrecommendedtostoreat4°Cforimmediateanalysisortofreezeat-70°Cforlong-termstorage.
