α-actininhasbeenpurifiedfromrabbitskeletalmuscle.Theproteinissuppliedasalyophilizedpowderanduponreconstitution,willbeinthefollowingbuffer:4mMTris-HClpH7.6,4mMNaCl,20μMEDTA,1%(w/v)sucrose,and0.2%(w/v)dextran.Thelyophilizedproductisstableat-70°Cforatleast2years.AT01shouldberesuspendedinnanopurewatercontaining1mMβ-mercaptoethanolorDTTtothedesiredworkingconcentration.
