PathPlex Panel 5 identifies total T-cells (CD3), cytotoxic T-cells (CD8) and cells expressing the immune checkpoint ligand PD-L1 within the context of the tumor microenvironment. PD-L1 can be expressed on antigen presenting cells such as macrophages (CD68) or tumor cells (cytokeratin). Ki-67 is a proliferation marker associated with poor prognosis in many cancers.
