Description:

ABTS One Component HRP Microwell Substrate contains 2.2’-azino-di[3-ethylbenzthiazoline sulfonate (6)] in a mild acidic buffer. The substrate is supplied as a one component ready to use solution. Unreacted substrate should be colorless to very light green in appearance. When this substrate system is reacted with peroxidase, a soluble blue-green reaction product is obtained. The reaction can be stopped using an appropriate stop solution. ABTS One Component HRP Microwell Substrate is not recommended for membrane or immunohistochemical applications that require a precipitation reaction product.
