ICG is a NIR fluorescent substance which obtain license for clinical uses from US FDA (Food and Drug administration), along with Methylene Blue. It is used in Ophthalmologic angiography, liver function tests, solid tumor detection in surgical operation and angiography. Because ICG effectively absorbs near infrared wavelength that is about 800nm and its absorption ratio for wavelength of visible light range is low, noises caused by Autofluorescence is low. ICG NHS ester is a product that has the most representative NHS ester reactive group for labeling amine. Because it rapidly and high-specifically reacts to Primary amine (-NH2), it can label Protein containing amine (-NH2), Antibody and Amine-modified Oligonucleotide in a short time period. Excitation / Emission (nm): 785 / 821 nm. Extinction coefficient: 240,000 cm-1M-1. CF280: 0.05.
