SPECIFICITY

This antibody recognizes human Mre11, an 80 kD protein that acts as a Mn+2- dependent double stranded DNA 3’ to 5’ exonuclease and a single stranded DNA endonuclease. It is part of a larger complex with Rad50, p95 (Nibrin), and possibly other proteins involved in the nucleolytic end-processing of double strand breaks and telomere maintenance.

APPLICATIONS

Immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation: use at 1-5 ug/ml.

Positive control: T24 cells, recombinant fusion protein.

DILUTION INSTRUCTIONS

Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.

STORAGE AND STABILITY

This antibody is stable for at least one

(1) year at -70oC. Avoid multiple freeze- thaw cycles.
