NHS functional Rhodamine B PEG is a red fluorescent derivative that has excitation and emission wavelength around 545 nm/576 nm. This molecule can be easily traced from its pink color and red fluorescence. Our NHS PEG Rhodamine is soluble in aqueous solution, labeling of biomolecules or particles can be easily carried out in aqueous buffer at pH 8-10.
Physical Properties:
- Pink or dark red solid or viscous liquid depends on molecule weight;
- Soluble in regular aqeous solution as well as in DMSO, DMF, etc.;
- NHS is reactive toward primary amine at pH 8-10.
