Description:
Thiol reactive agarose beads (S2P Agarose) is one of Nanocs reactive agarose beads that can be used for reversible immobilization of molecules containing free thiol groups. These thiol reactive agarose beads contain thiol reactive pyridyl disulfide bonds that can easily react with free thiol groups under mild conditions. Reaction between thiol and pyridyl disulfide results a reversible dithiol bond that can be cleaved by common dithio reducing agents such as DTT or TCEP. Our thiol reaction beads are ideal replacement for commonly used activated Thiol-Sepharose 4B or Thiopropyl Sepharose 6B from GE.
