Amine and azide聽conjugated PEG-carboxylic acid 聽(Amine聽azide-PEG-COOH, azide聽amine-PEG-COOH) is a trifunctional PEG derivative, which has amine and azidde聽group sharing one end and -COOH聽group on the other end.

Amine group can react with carboxylic acid and its active esters, and isocyanates. It 聽can also react with carbonyl such as ketone and aldehyde.

Azide聽were used to react azide group 鈥渃lick鈥?chemistry in mild condition, which is very useful for bioconjugation.

COOH聽can react with amine or OH containing entities.
