Overview:
The V5 epitope tag (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) consists of 14 highly charged amino acid residues originating from the C-terminus end of the P and V proteins of the simian virus 5, of the paramyxovirus family [1].This tag is widely employed because of the highly specific antibodies that can be generated against it [2].
